The proposed new pavilion has been designed to optimise the relationship to the sporting fields - catering for cricket, baseball and football as the primary users. The pavilion-in-the-park character of the building was developed through the high level of transparency and the way it engages with the site’s topography and grass bank, touching the site lightly.

The building has been designed to be inherently flexible, allowing concurrent use by different sporting codes through the re-purposing of existing facilities and the proximity of change rooms to sanitary facilities and showers. The project has met brief and function.
