Christou were commissioned via a multi-stage tender and design competition to deliver the new Harvey Community Hub Masterplan. The unique project involves the stitching together of numerous significant heritage buildings with a series of new additions to create a fluid and unified community precinct for the Shire, and to ignite tourism.

The masterplan seeks to celebrate the history of Harvey by reconnecting and framing existing heritage buildings as beacons within the precinct to restore regional character and celebrate history. The masterplan seeks to define three precincts. The first, the Community & Learning precinct includes Library and Community Resource Centre and Radio, Co-work space, public meeting rooms, youth rooms, market square and nature play. The second, the Civic Chamber & Administration Precinct includes new chamber within the historic War Memorial, as well as admin, meeting rooms and civic courtyard. The third, the Art's, Cultural & Tourism Precinct houses the Harvey Arts Society, creative arts studios, performing arts, events and artist courtyards.
