Herman Boon is Appointed Associate Director

Jun | 2021

It is with great excitement that we announce the appointment of Herman Boon as Associate Director, strengthening Christou’s leadership team and strategic briefing team. Herman has been with Christou for more than 12 years, progressing from talented, and rewarded student (graduating with high distinction) through to our highest position of Associate Director.

Over the years, Herman has honed his skill set across all areas of project delivery, including within strategic briefing, design phases, building materials selection, as project architect, contract administrator and superintendent. Herman's multi skill set equips him with the invaluable ability to work proactively in assessing risk and unlocking unrealised opportunity. Herman leaves no stone unturned to ensure due process is followed in steering and delivering a project from inception through to final certificate and beyond.

Herman has worked on numerous influential and award winning projects and has a key focus for Public, Community and Education architecture. Herman is currently Project Leader on the new St Mary’s Arts Centre and numerous primary school projects for the Department of Finance. His experience extends out to the regions from the Kimberly and Pilbara down to the South West.

Within the studio, Herman personifies leadership, continually progressing his skill set and project management processes and undertaking team training. He is a respected mentor to our team and embodies Christou’s culture of generosity. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Herman on his contribution to Christou and wider, his exemplar contribution to the built environment across Western Australian.
